The Phantom 9/10 February 18, 2019
A few months take place after book six where Track and his crew remain in the Soviet Union and go around causing all kinds of trouble for the KGB in a variety of small missions. Master of Death starts with the conclusion of this series of missions with one last important mission there, and revealing a surprising twist. The action is fast and furious and it is a good third of the novel before the new adventure in Mexico begins. This kicks off a new three book story arc featuring a new villain called the Master. Many characters once again from the series thus far join Track and a lot of plot development and action ensues near the city of Acapulco.  There are a cast of various bad guys and allies, the narrative shifts from different viewpoints quickly at times, and the action never lets up. Another down to the wire ending with some loose ends tied up, but more left open for the next book.
