Nice entry by Mr. Spring has Bolan blasting away a terror cell at a monastery and discovering a hellish plot to unleash the Black Death as a weapon. Then the big man is prowling around the streets of Boston (a lot of description, as if the author is from there) to hunt down a related cell of the religious zealots. Action moved along at a nice clip, with Bolan then off to Sydney following more clues to the whereabouts of the toxin. Nice assault scenes there, and the finale to find the antidote. A little bit of excess jumping around the globe for Bolan, but a solid effort.

This authors second crack at this series but not as good as Orange Alert #345 IMO. The plot was good where the religous cult are going to release a renewed version of the Black Plague on America resulting in death to an estimated 90% of the population. However due to the lack of experience the enemy have with weapons of war and tactics the Big Guy and his offsider blow through them like wind through a wheat field. Thought the ending was a little rushed into the last few pages but still worth a read there are a lot of titles out there no where near as good as this one in these series. Gotta say I take umbrage at a couple of things in this title which could be referenced in about one half a second I reckon. Note to author 1) The Capital city of Australia is not bloody Sydney mate AND 2) You won't find the Federal Parliament building there either. PLEASE !!!! lets take our eyes of of our navel when doing some reference work, sloppy one star deducted.

In the age of the Bird Flu, the Swine Flu and threats of bio-terrorism, Black Death Reprise is a great read. A cult decided to release a virus to kill 90% of the US and Mack Bolan and the Stony Man crew aim to stop it. Vast travels over the globe, great action and a plot that doesn't seem to fictional these days. Only complaint: The cult could have been given much more exposition. They were an interesting crew.

This book concerns the Black Death revisited from the 14th century. The action moves from France to Australia to America, on the eastern seaboard in the area of Boston. Bolan is confronted with a paramilitary group of monks, with 40 monks in particular, sent out one at a time to spread the deadly virus worldwide. For 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day, the killing will continue before the antidote is provided to the world. Can Bolan stop this planned pandemic? A thought provoking read for our contemporary times. Semper Fi.
