Force engaged. The Republic of Sudan plunges into deeper chaos as weaponized Ebola is unleashed by extremists seeking total destabilization. As an African warlord masterminds the plague ravaging Sudan, his conspirators and rogue allies in high places bankroll the ethnically charged slaughter, spreading panic and anarchy. Silent screams for retribution echo from the dead and dying, and Mack Bolan enters the fray, determined to give the terrormongers something to fear. The Executioner's message is loud and clear: justice is his only mandate. He won't stand down until the victims of Africa's tyrants pay the price for their bloodlust.

Well I am starting to sound like a parrot in these reviews but the terrific titles keep coming truly this is a wonderful time to be reading this series with the current authors delivering such quality material. Again a non stop action based title which you will have trouble putting down from this author but also with a good overall plot and storyline again add in some fine characters and you have the makings of a good title and so this is. The way the Big Guy gets into that secured compound is JUST CRAP ;-) BRILLIANT and I was there with him all of the way < cough >. The final section where Rafe and the Big Guy attack the fortress where over two thousand enemy await after having being baited there is excellent reading indeed where without reading it you may say bullshit couldn't happen but it would be very possible the way the author writes the ending sections. (took this title from a 9 to a 10 for me) Highly recommended reading absolutely loved it. A do yourself a favour title read this one.

By far, this is Doug's best Super that I've read. As is the norm with his bigger books, the action never seems to flag as Bolan, plus Encizo and James take down an African warlord in Darfur. But, we get to know the main villains, Cruz and Bitturumba very well. The ebola subplot makes sense, as we're dealing with Africa. The final battle was very extensive and had Bolan in classic mode, sniping, turning the bad guys against one another, and overall just kicking serious ass. The only part that was strange for me was Encizo releasing VX gas inside the enemy compound, but his character mulled over that part of the strategy fairly well, so it wasn't an easy decision. Great job and definitely a keeper in my book.

With special guest stars, Rafael Encizo and Calvin James, Bolan hits the jackpot of African despots and their suppliers. Probably one of the highest body counts in recent years. Thousands of people die. The controversial ending mentioned by the last reviewer raises ethics questions that should be a topic of debate in the forums. I give points for the novelity of not being tried before. The author rapid fires a bunch of new concepts that work (an improvised catapult, for example), doesn’t work (corpse ventriloquism, for example), or just downright mean (the ending, for example). As usual: Characterization and plot, well done. Prose is good, except for conveying a sense of time and place in exterior situations (more of those in this book). Highly recommended reading.

Bolan is out to stop some rebels who are dropping ebola on innocent villagers, Cal and Raf are along for the ride, a really good book, lots of action, maybe a few too many bad guys. And one little tactic they employ in the finale I didn't really like (I don't want to spoil it), I did love Cal trying to defend the refugee camp against a much larger force. Good read. Peace ...

I am a newbie to the series, but I am starting to love all the Executioner, Mack Bolan, and Stony Man novels. This is the first Mack Bolan book I read written by Douglas P. Wojtowicz, and I loved it. The only other book I read of this author was Outback Assault, which I also really enjoyed. He is really good at writing the book from the different points of view of all the characters, and the action sequences were top notch. A good read!
