Genocide is spreading through the jungles of South America. The swift and silent massacre in villages on the Ecuadorian border seems to be part of a larger plan fueled by blatant greed. Mack Bolan heads into the rain forest to expose the truth behind the slaughter and put an end to this new wave of atrocities. Bolan comes face-to-face with pure evil when he gets caught in the cross fire between a rogue army general hungry for power and a ruthless multinational corporation plotting to reap billions from the blood of the innocent. But the Executioner is ready to lay his trap as he heads deep into the bush to stalk the deadliest predator of all. Man.

I'm not sure why this story would get any bad reviews, this was one of my favorite storylines, the author had by utmost attention throughout the novel! Great writing Mr. Morgan, I look forward to the next!If there ever was a Mack Bolan film, the actor who plays John on the television series "Person Of Interest" would be an awesome Mack Bolan! he is who I picture when reading this great series! Keep up the good work sir!

Well after the first two titles by this author this was a HUGE disappointment for me after reading this one. The first 33 pages feature a section where the Big Guy captures a Drug Lord and delivers him to a waiting David and Jack and the ready to take off jet which is all well and good and interesting reading but has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the rest of the title. WHY? Simple the author was aware he was releasing a load of crap and at the last minute decided to include something which MAY be slightly interesting to read in the title. A previous reviewer made note of the grossly out of character action by the Big Guy when taking out someone he came across in the jungle where he had no idea at all who he was killing but decided to off the guy when he could have done so many other things. I totally agree and would go further where if you actually decide to read this pile of crap you will constantly be asking yourself "who am I actually reading about here?" as it most certainly is NOT the Big Guy. Very ordinary title which plods along to a ending where nothing actually happens but the reader thinks to themself thank god that is over the next one couldn't be as bad as that. If you wish to read 180+ pages of very ordinary text here it is, for the rest of us I would suggest give it a wide berth much better stuff released in these series than this one.

This book was OK at best. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. The story of "Jungle Hunt" was a great idea, but the overall story was average at best. I greatly enjoyed the start of the book throughout the first 50 pages. There was a great storyline started, as I referred to, and strong ties to the Stony Man Farm. (I really enjoy when Stony Man characters show up in Bolan stories). Morgan did a great job of bringing in several strong support characters that prep'd for a great book ... ecologists, humanitarian relief, etc. Through 50 or so pages, this was primed for a hit. Then, the story went no where. It seemingly dragged on for 75 pages with nothing happening. There was one major hit on a local village, but other than that it was wasted pages and little story development. At the end, the pinnacle scene was ok, but nothing to highlight nor save the book. After reading three from this author, I truly enjoy his ideas for stories, but this was the 2nd in a row that I'd rate a little below expectations.

....ohhh where to start, this one was OK at best. I read it about a month ago and one great scene sticks it my mind. The village massacre scene is well written and disturbing on a gut level. Everything else in this book is pretty by the numbers. My main problem with this book is the fisrt guy Mack kills. It was a sensless act of violence and Mack could have acomplished his objective with simply knocking the guy out or all together avoiding him. This is becasue at the time Bolan did not have enough intel (in my view anyway) to know for sure if this dude was a terrorist. Yea, he was suspicious but not enough so to warrant a random killing. This is a big problem for me because it did not seem like something Mack should or would do. If this killing was not in the book it would have recived a soild 7. So i will shave two off the top.
