Carib Command is a powerful cartel of traffickers and terrorists with a campaign to plunge the tiny Caribbean islands of St. Andreas into chaos. With American lives at stake, Mack Bolan hunts the enemy from back alleys to waterfront strongholds, and fires the opening round in a war to rid the islands of evil. For Carib Command, full-scale slaughter is just another day in paradise. The Executioner will show them just how hot it can get.

A solid, well told tale from the beginning to the last page. This story involves a group called Carib Command, who are planning to take over control of an island in the Caribbean. The tropical setting and culture make a colorful backdrop to Bolan's adventure, which takes place on the island or in the waters nearby. Action mixed with story development keeps the pages turning, and I enjoyed the book. Bolan has his lone wolf moments, but a lot of his time is spent working with other agents involved in the takedown of Carib Command badguys. Scenes from both villans and allies were written well, nothing too spectacular here, but good enough to provide an entertaining read. I liked the plot used to wrap up the villains in the last chapters. This added some spice to the usual endings you might see in an average novel in the series. I found this book to be a worthwhile read, not as good as the previous four books, but still a quality entry.

Umm well this is pretty ordinary. The plot is thin and I agree with the previous reviewer what is Bolan actually doing there. The underwater piece is quite well written with the limpet mine and previously set charges on the backup boat. The setup on the supposed safe house of the witness of the massacre is also well written but overall the title is lacking. my two bobs worth........

This story was not badly written, however it did lack a plot. Bolan was called in via Brognola via his contacts that were in trouble from a local drugs cartel that wanted to take over the government in a feeble half baked plot. Problem is, Bolan isn't really needed at all, the locals seemed to be doing quite well without him. His contact on the island, Shepard, goes from being a shady shifty character in a clothing shop, to a commando with his own intelligence organization, complete with dirty tricks department, to back him up. The only thing that I did like about the story was that the bad guys realised that it was the Executioner behind all their set backs quite early on in the book. Unfortunately nothing more is made of this, eg media intrest, Mafia hitmen or Columbian cartels picking up their ears and moving into the action. This is one story that can be missed.

THIS WHOLE BOOK WAS JUST REDICULOUS TO ME. A TRUE DUD WITH NO PLOT WHATSOEVER.
