I got myself a refurbished ipad mini which makes reading these ebooks so much easier. Of Death List I found the first half of the book more enjoyable than the second. Bolan infiltrates the Chicago mafia just like in the old days a proceeds to demolish another mafia clan to prove his loyalty. The group he is infiltrating is run by a husband and wife, two old crones, of which Rosa was the better villain. There is no explanation as to how she became so high up in the organization which is a shame as it would have added a bit of flavor to the story. The second part has Bolan running around the country rescuing various bigwigs from assassination. This was kind of silly as Bolan had no real reason to do this, it could have been handled by any other federal authority and Bolan could have been dealing with other aspects of the mission rather than swinging out of flying Osprey aircraft. Engaging in the knife fight at the end was also silly. Never bring a knife to a gunfight, do they not remember that movie? But otherwise it was an enjoyable romp and way better than the previous book that I read.
