Carl Lyons and his warriors hit Las Vegas for the wedding of an old friend. But when Vincent Hobb's nephew is framed for murder, the Team goes into action. The syndicate is behind the frame-up; Billy Hobbs knew too much. But equally disturbing is the resurrection of the Aryan Right Coalition - a group of white power supremists hired by the Mob. ARC has tangled with Able Team before. Able Team takes a wild ride through the neon jungle of the Vegas strip. They owe Vincent Hobbs and Washington wants ARC destroyed. This time the Team must leave its mark - in blood!

For the story the rating is given. If you are looking for kickass action look somewhere else as you won't find it here but if you are looking for a really good storyline with good characters introduced you will find it here. Seems a lot of people don't like this writers style but personally I don't have many problems there. An enjoyable read where the Billy character really grabs you I found myself wishing him a bit of luck but ???

This could have been worse and could have been better. I did at least finish it without a struggle although the gap of time between the last chapter and the epilouge was a little disappointing. Also this one was a lil' crowded with characters we were supposed to remember. although the infiltration and back-stabbing was abound, i had a hard time keeping up with who's who.

I agree with the review from sarge. This book has some good conpiracy, backstabbin, and doublecrossin stuff that makes a story interesting, some suspense, and just enough action to keep it from getting dull. A whole different type of AT from the G H Frost era, but change happens in time one way or another.

Had to track this one down and see what the supposedly worst book on record in these series was all about. Once again (as with Rampage) I have to part company with the Renauld bashers: This guy seems to have learned somewhere that even action novels benefit from characterization, dialogue and plotting as much as they do a high splatter ratio (personally if I need a bang-bang-you're-dead fix I'll take over my son's video games for a few minutes till it passes). I found Pol being tortured by having a gila monster put in a cage over his head to be clever and inspired, if in a perverse way. And, yes, the white supremacists were a bit stereotypical, but they were still fleshed out more than more villains in these kind of books. Incidentally, who the hell is this 'echoes' moron? Somebody Renauld beat out for a job at some point? His unsubstantiated, knee-jerk reviews smack more of some personal vendetta than any sort of valid criticism, not to mention the fact his rubberstamping/ballot stuffing has made a travesty of this whole ratings process (he's from florida, yes?). Anyway, I like Renauld and thinks it's too bad he's moved on to whatever; he at least made an effort not to dumb things down and tried to offer something more than 300 pages of 'See Guys Shoot', which, I'm sorry, does not necessarily a good book make.

The first time that Able Team took on the ARC in Cajun Angel, it was a very entertaining little book which was a nice sequel to Fall Back and Kill. However, with each passing appearance of the Aryan Right Coalition, the boredom grew deeper. These chumps were PATHETIC! Come on! A gila monster chewing on Blancanales? This piece of steaming boredom was sooooo slow and soooo stupid, and the enemy sooo pathetically weak that I didn't even finish this one. Did Able Team even shoot someone at the end of this yawner?

Yawn! Another bland entry from Renauld.
