Wow, this book was almost perfect, where do I start? We'll first off it's pretty much a mixture of the Mafia/Terrorist/Drug War stuff with a dash of sci-fi. Dan Schimdt really sucked me in with this one, and to tell you the truth I wasn't expecting much from Poison Justice. After reading only two Schimdt novels that were poorly written and constructed, I had developed a dislike for his novels but this book has changed my mind. But like I said in the first line this book was ALMOST perfect, there are a few reasons why this book isn't getting a perfect score. 1)But the whole poision liquid subplot was not explored and barley mentioned for most of the book and left me wondering alot about it and the situation. 2) Bolan INTENTIONALLY lets the villain get away more than once, 3) The ending scenes were it quickly switched locations seems as though it was rushed. Overall, Poison Justice is an above average book and one of the best of the most recent titles released. -
Wow.... I had taken a break from The Executioner's for a few months and was occupying myself with SuperBolans and StonyMans when I decided to read this one. This book was just amazing. The action, locations, and villains were outstanding, well described, and have been some of the best I have read in the newer set of Executioners. Mack Bolan himself is truly back in the book, he becomes weak, he gets hurt, he is human! Mack and his allies in the story are exhausted during the chase but Bolan doesn't give up, he would die to see the terrorist scum end up in hell. This book was truly amazing, but like said before the thing that was a bit odd was the dialouge. It seemed a bit to happy considering the situations they were in and it doesn't seem like Bolan would say. But despite the book was excellent.
